Hi, first time on here, just after some advice before I go buying a new sensor..
Ok, I've had the Nissan sat for the last 9months, just started it up after changing the Fuel filter and battery, been out over the last 2 days and it runs ok but no turbo punch really, anyway I noticed the service light come on and off yesterday and today it just stayed on.. finally after driving home from work and the car just starting to warm up it started to chug under power to the point I had to abandon it, but it will start again no problem. it will rev on the spot, just once its under load its starts the chugging.. Anyway could this be the mass airflow sensor going faulty? since it was fine over the last 2 days apart from the lack of punch.
Another thing just before it started to go south the turbo did kick in once or twice, the engine never goes above half temp and the cooling liquid is a nice green colour.
