I used to think that the Continentals brought their own produce over with them. Well, on Tuesday, we happened to be in our local Lidl store when two Frenchmen came in and bought a load of plain flour (more than a large trolley full) and quite a number of Utterly Butterly packs. According to what we heard whilst waiting at the checkout, these items were for the preparation of crepes for serving to market customers. Hope the poor suckers don't pay through the nose for food which they believe to be made from genuine Continental ingredients!
