Hi All. Got an 03 astravan Isuzu engine. After changing the radiator the expansion tank cap started making an hissing noise, replaced it and the new one actually comes loose and all the coolant pours out after a 20 minute drive. Just had cambelt done so new water pump and was hoping it could help but didnt. The thermostat is working as well. Someone mentioned it could be a failed head gasket and had it tested for gases (sniffer test) which turned out negative but he was under the impression there was too much pressure within cooling system. However there are no traces of oil in the expansion tank and coolant remains clear. The guy who just did the cambelt seems to think i should replace the ET cap but done that to no avail. This problem only came on whilst having a leak on radiator so may have driven with no coolant in system but again no oil in expansion tank? Thank you for your help
