Looking at different car models it seems to me that the higher spec ( more costly ! ) ones appear to offer little real difference to the basic. Three differences I've noticed are 1) Alloys instead of steel 2) Oval instead of circular exhaust 3) Additional chrome trim here and there. Do any of these things actually matter ? Is the basic car the better buy ?
