blow outs ,damage rims and locking wheel nuts

So apparently RAC don't recover if you don't have a locking wheel nut (despite the information about a damaged incorrect spare being given at first phone call and that there is no locking wheel nut )the spare being a damaged 19 inch wheel and the car has 22 inch wheels ..I guess driving a lopsided car with a damaged spare is safe in their eyes !!!
first RAC guy arrives 4 hrs later to tell me he does not have a tool to remove the locking nut despite knowing mine is missing, the original wheel is unrepairable due to the high speed 70mph blow out ..actual split in the alloy rim.
so spare is unusable, original unrepairable then I get told as there is no locking wheel nut I have to pay for recovery !! what would they have done if id had it .
215 for 65-mile recovery and a further minimum hour wait.
What a great company to be with !!
Most modern cars don't have a spare wheel or even a space-saving spare .so in the event of a puncture, the most common car failure if you don't have a locking wheel nut you are simply ripped off.
Do we have to lie and throw the spare away to get recovery?
Added to the fact my partner suffers anxiety, left on a busy main dual carriageway, the RAC being told the spare is a different size and damage,it's a recently purchased car and the locking nuts missing, we wait 4 hours for a guy that says I can't remove it without the locking nut despite the spare being incorrect then wait a further hour and a half for recovery, another hour and a half and 215 pounds later we get home
An appalling company that uses get out clauses to charge paid up customers premium prices when in need of emergency help. from start to finish 7 hrs to get recovered the 65 miles and a 215 pound charge .
The most common cause of breakdowns are punctures and blow outs ,I got a tool from halfords that took minutes to get the wheel nut off ,yet the RAC cant ,or more truthfully wont because they can charge you a kings randsom .
