I currently own an ageing Saab 9-5 Aero my04, mileage is getting on a bit (167,000miles) and things are starting to sneak up on me, so before it goes bang I am looking for some advice opinions on what is my next best option.
I have drawn up a shortlist of possibilities,
Lexus GS300,430
Audi A6 3.2
Bmw 5 series 330i
Saab 9-3 2.8 v6
At the moment I am leaning towards the Lexus due to reliability, standard features.
My price range is not too good, only really have £3000 but can maybe stretch to 3250 if really needed, question is am I been optimistic with my choices, I don't expect anything pristine or less than 10 years old, is their any other options I have not thought of?
Mpg is not important as I only work a few miles away, would really like to stay close to the power of the Aero (250bhp 350nm), not fussed if it is auto or manual, but has to be petrol.
What do you folks think, what would you do? based in the Teesside area so if any of you have anything for sale.....:D
