No name tyres or part worn tyres, which are best for me?

I’m running on a budget here, and would like some advice on which tyres to buy for my Audi TT mk1 225 Quattro, I’ve only got about £200 to spend and I need to replace all four.

My local tyre place will fit me 4 brand new tyres for £200 cash deal, but the only brand he can offer for the money is Membat Passion, they’re Spanish so should meet EU standards. Does anyone here use them, are they any good?

My other option is part worn tyres from eBay, you only get 5mm of tread but the tyres are top brands like Dunlop and Goodyear. I’ve heard stories about part worn tyres but don’t we all buy used tyres when we buy used cars?

I’m hoping to do a trackday at Anglesey in June where I will push the car to its limits for an hour, rest of time will just be fast and sporty road driving.
