hi, apologies if I am posting in the wrong forum but I am desperate for advice. I pulled out from a side road to join a 2 way road to turn right. When looked both ways, there was no traffic however as soon as I joined the road, a parked car pulled off on to my side of the road, his left corner and my left front corner smashed into each others. Whose fault is it. His was an N reg Vauxhall corsa, mine is a 10 plate BMW.
I checked his car on MID.COM after, it was showing uninsured. This was yesterday evening. This morning I checked again, and now his car is showing insured.
I have 7 years NCB. His car damage can be repaired in 50 pounds or less (his car is worth around 150/200 as per autotrader). Mine being a newer car, I am looking at least 400 pounds for repair. Not sure what to do. Whether to go through insurance or pay out my own pocket. But if its not my fault, I don't want to pay his repair.
