A couple of days ago the temp guage on my car developed a fault and showed an overheat. My breakdown mechanic came out and checked it and advised a faulty switch on the coolant system. I was able to get home, and have the car booked into my dealers for next Tuesday to get it checked.
I decided to check the car this morning (I haven't used it since the above incident). Now the Engine Management System light is staying on and the engine won't start - it turn over, but won't fire.
Is this likely to be linked to the previous issue with the switch, or am I now looking at something else?
