Just wanted to ask a quick question,
I have a Petrol Corsa 1.2i SXi+ [80bhp],
And dont seem to be getting much fuel economy on my current route to work.
I always drive off peak times.
Via the motorways its 10 miles to work.
Via normal roads its 8 miles to work.
On the motorway @ 70mph I am at 3,500-4,000k revs.
On roads I am around 1,500-2,000 revs,
Now of course lower revs are better but taking into account traffic lights and stop starting along with the motorway of course allowing faster journeys,
Would I see 'worthwhile' fuel consumption advantages if I took the roads instead of the motorway?
Traffic on the roads isn't the issue as it would just be the regular traffic lights.
Any advise is appreciated!
