Last Sunday our car broke down on the way to theatre at a busy set of traffic lights in the centre of London. We called the RAC who said they would get to us in 75 minutes.
35 minutes later we received a call from Lee the RAC guy. He was near to us and just needed to work his way through grid locked traffic to us.
Our alternator belt had snapped and needed replacing our battery had eventually died on the trip. We where a good 200plus miles from home so getting the car fixed was essential.
Lee called a number of parts places to see if he could source the part on a Sunday, which he eventually did.
He exchanged our battery so we could follow him in the car to the parts place a good 45 minutes drive away.
Once we got there it began to rain we sat in the car as Lee got stuck in to fixing the new belt.
He did and all for just over £15 for the price of the belt.
What fantastic service and on a Sunday too.
Lee really does need to be congratulated and recognised for his great efforts.
He sorted out a very stressful situation for us.
