I've got an old Ford Focus 1.8 tdci early 2005 model.... The problem I'm having is that when I slow down. Approaching a junction, round-about or traffic lights etc... My car will cut out (not every time just now and again) ... and my power steering will not work...so is a little dangerous... although its never been at a high speed and always when I'm nearly stopped. But I can turn the ignition off then back on and the car always starts. It also cuts out if I leave it in tick over stationary can last about 10 mins then will cut out.
JOBS ITS HAD DONE:
I've just changed the turbo... was due anyway.
Fuel Filter
Oil Change
Heat Plugs
Checked Injectors
Air Flow Meter
Gear Sensor
Crank Shaft Sensor...
and still the problem persists... yep it would be cheaper to get a new car. But I love the girl and would love to see her running well again. Any help would be gratefully received.. Cheers!
