Van hit my house

Just wondering if I should claim through my own home insurance or the owners van insurance?

Id rather not have a claim on my home insurance but don't know if I can claim straight from theirs on my own.

I have all the relevant details, reg, policy number, crime reference number etc.

Took out my fence, and pretty much all my porch.

Any help or advice would be appreciated
