Hi, this is a moan about Swinton car insurance. I'm here because I noticed other members complaining about how Swinton operates.
I have just received a phone bill with one particularly high call charge. I checked with my phone supplier, saw on my itemised bill that it was a call I made recently when renewing my car Insurance.
Swinton offered a deal on a comparison website, I had to call in to confirm. I expected a quick call but was taken through a lengthy process of having to go back over all the details I had JUST filled in online. To cut a long story...I hung up because the agent was tkaing so long and the deal didn't live up to expectations.
I can't believe that I was charged for effectively getting a quote. I'd like to see my clients reactions to me charging for a quote!!
Please beware all those not clued up on 0843 numbers or in my case thinking that the comparison websites means quick, easy and painless renewal of car insurance!
