Basically I'm hoping someone can help me before I have a breakdown (mentally and car related). I've just spent £500 on having a new cam belt, alternator belt, oil and filter change and breather hose pipe on my 03 Ford fiesta zetec. The cam belt needed doing as I'd driven over 100,000 miles. The breather hose pipe also needed doing as my car would turn over then stall before I could put it in gear however all the rest was suggested by my garage.
Since getting my car back and parting with my cash, every time I slow down the engine light, battery light and oil light come on, the car slows down and the steering gets heavy. As soon as I turn off and on again it's fine but it's literally everytime slow down and go into 1st or 2nd gear. Can someone please advise whats wrong? and whether it's connected to the work I've had done. I don't want to spend more money really but will if i have to.
