I have a cortina mk3 needed a respray

Can any body give me some advice please
I have a cortina mk3 I was restoring
I took it to a garage to have a respray
The man said he could do it for £400
So I said go ahead and payed him up front
I asked how long would it take he said
To weeks to days went by he asked for another
£100 which I paid he said it would be dun
In to weeks I had no problem to weeks
Went by no car so I go down he said he was
Busy so I said ok how long now end of the
Week that week went by no car he resprayed
The car after a month so I go down to have a look
Some one had scratched the new paint
I wasn't happy so he had started it all
Over again it's been a year now I still haven't got
My car back every time I ask he says
The end of the week it's cost me a lot of money
Iv had to buy another car to get about
To this day I carnt get my car back
He put it down the bottom of the garage
And put cars with no engines in front
At the moment the car is in primer
Iv asked him to get the car out and I'll
Finish it off my self he ignores
Me can any body give me some advice please
