Hi, my 51 plate Astra failed its MOT today due to a light failure, the problem is as follows...
When the lights are off and I press the brake pedal the rear side light on the drivers side comes on but the rear passenger side brake light comes on as normal and so does the top window light. When I turn the side lights on they all come on as normal until I press the brake pedal which turns the rear drivers side off completely.....the front lights are not affected at all it's just the drivers side rear lights that aren't working correctly.....I have the Lexus style clear light housing lights on my car, I have changed the brake light but still got the same problem.....any ideas? Just to clarify at no point does the brake filament light up on the rear drivers side light
