Nissan Qashqai faulty?

Hello. I am in the middle of a dispute with a car dealer and I need advise. I bought a used 2007 Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Visia petrol. After 7 days of purchase it wouldn't start. I took it to an official Nissan garage and they replaced the battery. 5 days later it wouldn't start again. I took it to another garage for inspection and I was told it had a major electrical fault. It went back the same official Nissan garage and they told me that there was a corroded cable going from the gearbox to the battery, and that the ECM of the car had to be changed. It costs a lot. I had only used the car for 12 days and less than 200 miles. I claimed the seller to pay for the repair because it was not a wear and tear matter. He refused because he considered that: a) the Nissan garage had broken the car when they replaced the battery, or b) the Nissan garage should have seen the corroded cable when they inspected the car when changing the battery. This b option I'm not sure if I can accept it because in the Nissan Garage's bill, it doesn't say they did an inspection to the car at that time. The Nissan Garage of course claims it is impossible they broke the car when they replaced the battery. I have to say too that the garage (not the nissan one) that also inspected the car said it was the seller's fault.

I am taking the seller to the small claims court but I need advise. Should I get an expert to certify that this problem had to be in the car when I bought it? Or do you think it could really be the Nissan Garage's fault? Any help or comment would be much appreciated. Thank you.
