Peugeot 106 (R reg) radiator

Hi,

So I am booked in to the local garage to get my radiator replaced (was leaking) after the RAC chap told me that I needed a new one. My question is though, it was leaking quite a lot so I'm not sure if I should drive it to the garage or get the RAC out to do it for me. Can I just top up the radiator with water to get it to the garage? Do I need to bleed it if I do this?
