Ford focus core plugs - juddering etc

Hi wondering if someone can help, ill try keep it succinct

I've been having problems with my mk2 petrol ford focus zetec

A few weeks ago, engine light came on. Roadside man came & said core plugs were leaking & coolant levels were low

Took it to a garage that I Won't be going to again - they replaced 2 core plugs & soon after it happened again. Again they replaced & same happened. On top of that they were Rude, nasty, abrupt & confrontational - but that's another story.

Took it to a recommended garage. They said coil pack, pressure & leads were fine. They sucked up the leaking fluid where the plugs were, replaced with 2 core plugs (not ford ones since they said they had flat spots, causing leakage) & put sealant round them. The topped up some fluid too for coolant.

Now, if my car was 100% before this happened & 20% after, it now feels at 90%.

Engine light isn't on. Car isn't juddering or clanging but especially at the lower revs, I feel its not at full power, almost if its very slightly mis firing. I can feel its not 100% whereas most who don't drive it won't notice it.

Looking under bonnet, the orange coolant is quite dark/brown - not sure what they topped it with? But looks like it'll need changing.

It's also due it's 12 month service.

The second garage also did mot - only 2 advisories

They mentioned that to get the 2 metal caps off they had to drill a hole and pull it out. Unfortunately one got stuck but said that their machine shop says it won't make a difference & it'll be fine (same place advised them on the weak spot of the ford core plugs)

So although my cars running, I feel its still lacking slightly

Ill be taking it for a service on Friday & wondered what else I can mention to the garage (it'll be a different garage, somewhere closer)?

Thanks
