MPs vote in favour of a ban on smoking in cars carrying children

Smoking in cars carrying child passengers could be banned after MPs voted in favour of an amendment to the Children and Families bill yesterday. This means ministers now have the power to make this a criminal offence, but are not obliged to. What do you think to the news?
