Hi guys,
I'm new on this forum, so firstly I'd like to say Hi to everyone. :)
I know you guys must be sick of these threads but I'm feeling completely lost.
I was in a small car park in front of some local shops. I was in the main aisle-way driving no more than 5mph when all of a sudden a lady in a bay reversed straight into my car. She damaged the entire rear quarter of my car. She didn't look out at all when she reversed.
She admitted it was her fault and apologised. My insurance company assured me this is a non fault accident which is also what I thought. But now I've got a letter from my insurers saying that her insurers hold me fully responsible. I have no idea how they can even make such a ludicrous claim. She reversed out of a space into me, she didn't pay attention or look around her.
Am I about to be shafted? I'm so angry as I have done absolutely nothing wrong but it feels like they are trying to scam me and shaft me.
Please advise on the best course of action guys.
Many thanks in advance.
