My dad sold his car tues night. Buyer didnt test drive. Ad states oil leak and was told of a rattle. Guy paid £600 for it. Gave receipt signed etc stating leak and rattle sold as seen. Dad said he got in and reveved it up the road like a boy racer. Now get message (sat) to say has a knocking sound on full lock, clutch is knackered, brakes squeek and suspension is off. I replied to state know nothing of this and car was drive around 50 miles each day and car has sports suspension so will feel different. Not once has he asked for refund. Now threatening court action. Mot due aug and all online. Car is serviced every year and nothing mentioned. Am i right in thinking his tough luck as never drove it and taken this long to mention?
