Hi,
I have a 2003 Nissan Micra 1.4 SVE Auto with the keyless ignition system. Without warning the keyfob has failed to work on either locking, unlocking or starting the car. I have changed the battery in the keyfob, still nothing.
I have tried the key blade in the ignition, but even that won't turn the ignition on?
I have disconneted and reconnected the battery, but still nothing.
I am stumped and can't move the car to a garage as nothing comes on. The lights work, so I guess the battery is still good. I have also tried running jump leads from another car for extra power in case the battery was low, but to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas, please?
I am confused.
Thanks
James
