Rac effectively fined me for being disabled, I called them around a month ago cancelling my breakdown cover, the reason although nome of their business was because my illness has gotten so bad lately that I had to give up my car and take a mobility car which was automatic, that came with breakdown cover..however rac have twice tried to reinstate that direct debit and have taken money from my account ( which I stopped on the day it was taken) I've just had a conversation with one of their telephone staff who informed me that I need to pay a fine for cancelling my cover, as if having walking difficulties and crippling illness wasn't bad enough to deal with....seriously why would anyone deal with this firm...caring customer service really ? #rac
