Can anyone tell me what protocol runs my ecu, I drive a 2001 model ford focus 1.6 16v zetec S.e which was first registered in sept of 2001, it has the obd2 socket with 7 connecting pins in positions 2,4,5,7,10,13,16, but my elm327 obd2 reader will not connect to ECU any help appreciated
