I have a problem that the garage has been unable to fix.
It's a bit of a strange one - the car jolts twice after taking your foot off the accelerator. Not all the time but quite frequently.
The garage changed the o2 sensor as it throwing up an error code (P0133) It does seem a lot lot smoother but the problem continues. I have determined it is worst when the weather is cold. it doesn't do it when the car is warming up. I have also found out that it does it when the throttle position sensor returns to minimum setting (7.84%).
Other symptoms are that the car sometimes looks like it going to stall, but doesn't. Usually 4 / 5 minutes after starting and perhaps just a couple of times.
The garage have said no faults, none pending and the car drives great, great mpg(60 plus) but this annoying problem exists. You take your foot off the throttle and the car jolts twice. It appears that it gets restricted somehow as the car seems to slow.
Any thoughts
Car has 49k on the clock, full service history.
One final thing the O2 sensor was very sooty when removed.
No faults showing
Thanks in advance.
