hi just wondering if anyone can shed any info on my case
i bought a bike in bradford and brought it back to ireland...i got a nip for doing 62 in a 50 zone about 1 mile from where i bought the bike...my fault, i just didn't see the reduction in the speed limit, a bit ironic as i traveled across the u.k. to hollyhead without anything further.
anyway, this happened on 31/3/16 the nip is dated 4/5/16 and i received it today 10/5/16.
incidentally ,the bike has been re registered here so its on different plates, so the dvla would have got informed that i was exporting it.
just wondering about the 14 day rule that is mentioned here...the points cant be put on my license as its not a u.k. licence, but i dont want this sitting in the background, i'v no problem paying a fine but it would be an expensive day to go to court....does anyone know if the S.A.C. can be done in N.I. ..the incident happened in west yorkshire.
it would be awkward to do it in n.i. as i live in the south, but i'd do it ...thanks
