Peugeot 307 rumble help

Hello everyone many thanks for all your help in the past :) I am back with a 2001 peugeot 307 1.6 petrol and when you get to 30mph there is a very loud rumble (wheel bearing rumble) from the front, however i jacked the car up and span the wheels by hand and cant hear a thing??

Does this mean it could be the gearbox bearings instead because surely i should hear some noise when i spin the wheels fastly by hand.

Any help will be great
