I have a 54 plate Ford Focus 1.8 lx petrol, only got it last week. I was going to post about a juddering that happens on acceloration, seems to stop after 2500 revs. I have been driving live a learner to prevent the juddering but noticed this morning that a lot of smoke is coming from the exhaust and if I put my foot down a bit the car seems to be over revving. Don't know anything about cars so don't want to get ripped off by a garage so would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction before taking it in. Checked the oil and thinks like that and everything seems okay. Thanks
