I have a 2007 cmax 1800 petrol and it has gone into limp mode. It has been in the ford dealers garage who put it onto their diagnostic machine which showed that it was the throttle body. They replaced the throttle body which seemed to fix it and then drove 2 miles down the road then it went back to limp mode.
They are scratching their heads trying to figure out where to go now.
They are saying that it will take a long time as they are going to try and trace and check all the wires. I would have thought that when they charge £50 for a diagnostic that it would find the fault?
Have anyone had this problem and if so how did you cure it.
I am now getting desperate as it has been about 3-4 weeks, any help would be greatly appreciated
