Hi,
I've hired a car from Enterprise, through my work's business account. I need it early on Monday morning so Enterprise have delivered it to my home today. That's fine with me, but I don't have a parking permit for my street so it's been parked in a non-permit section a couple of streets away.
I was wondering whether the car is now my responsibility, or if Enterprise remain responsible until my rental contract actually starts on Monday morning? Of course I should have asked the person who dropped the car off but it's only just occurred to me now.
It's not a huge concern to me as my work should cover anything that would otherwise be my liability, but it would inevitably be a bit of a headache so it would be useful to know. I live in a safe but very busy city centre, student-y area, so accidental damage is a possibility.
Apologies if there is an obvious answer to this, I can't see anything in the contract and I'm new to driving & renting cars!
