Wonder if you can supply any thoughts /legal standing with the following?
I recently saw a car advertised on ebay/autotrader/exchange&mart etc from a large car dealer.
I liked the car, took a test drive, agreed the price with a part exchange on my vehicle and placed a deposit on the vehicle.
I have recently spoken to the dealer regarding pick up and full payment and they inform me that due to some unforeseen parts/ repairs they have had to do the price has risen £500 to cover their costs for parts etc.
I am told that I can pay the extra or walk away as they have another branch who has a finance client wanting to buy at the higher price should I say no to the increase.
The car is still for sale on all the above sites at the original advertsed price.
Anyone know what I can do or what the legal position is?
