Have a claim at the moment where i believe was 50/50. However i think my insurance company might void my insurance due to me not being the owner of the vehicle (finance had to go in my uncles name as i couldnt pass so he is on the log book, didnt think about this as i have been paying for the car for 3 years now). If they do what will happen? Will the third party contact me direct, or will it have to go to court? I would much prefer to settle anything privately with the third party should this happen, is this possible? Or will they have to take me to court?
