I am currently at the end of my first year insurance policy and I am awaiting my renewal notice which I know comes 21 days before my policy is up and is proof of my 1 year no claims. However, I have purchased a new car which I get this weekend and it is before my insurance policy is up. The car that I currently own is staying at my house so I want to get insurance on my new car but as long as it is with my 1 years no claims. So basically what I am getting at is, will I be able to start a new policy with one year no claims on my new car as soon as that renewal comes through or will I have to wait until my policy ends.
