I have a 15 plate Ford Fiesta 1ltr Eco black led edition, brought from new in May . At just under 11000 miles the car would not get into gear, I was recovered & told by the ford dealership that a component had broken so they would replace the clutch under warranty. I had the car back roughly 3 days just driving 295 miles over the 4 days to work & back & running a few errands when I had the problem again once I put the car into reverse I then couldn't put it into any gear. Once again I was recovered, the car was taken to dealership again where upon I receive a voicemail from the service guy saying they think it's a faulty part & are just waiting for warranty to give the go ahead. The next thing they ring back & say the warranty department have refused to do it under warranty they have said it is driver error. What had happened is the centre plate has welded itself to the pressure plate . I am left fuming as the previous clutch was not like this & even the service guy has said he has never seen a clutch go like it. I am now left with no car still paying the finance & no solution to getting it repaired. It is still st the dealership all apart. I have contacted the finance company & they are not interested also contacted consumer advice but they were no help, any advice would be gratefully received .
