Hi,
Just after some advice, I was recently involved in an incident in my works car park. I was reversing slowly due to there being no car park spaces and bumped a car which was waiting to enter the car park as he watched me reversing, he was parked on some yellow hatch markings which are also on a slope. There was another car parked (in a non designated car park space) on the left hand side of the car park which completed blocked my view to any cars on this slope and it was heavily raining. My question is....Can the other driver in the parked car on the yellow hatch markings be at fault?
I contacted my insurance company and explained that I didn't think this was my fault as he was on these yellow hatch markings and my view was blocked and they said as I was reversing it's my fault and that's it.
If I can provide CCTV footage could this change the outcome or is it entirely my fault?
