Hello all i have a 2002 ford fiesta diesel 1.4 tdci with 150,000 on the clock. I posted before about a lack of power and black smoke issue and thanks to the help from this site i cured the problem which was a ****** EGR valve. I blanked the EGR valve off like i was advised and the car has been running great but recently it has developed a intermittent lumpy idle only when the car is hot. Its like the whole car is shaking but goes when the revs are increased and doesn't come back.
I have scanned the ecu and its came up with the following codes.
P0402 EGR flow excessive detected - invalid signal.
P0113 Intake air temperature circuit high input.
Now surely the first code is due to the EGR valve being blanked off.. so would the second code be the cause of the intermittent lumpy idle when up to temperature ?
Any help will be great and i will post what cures the problem once rectified.
Thanks.
