Hi all
My Peugoet 207 1.4 8V petrol engine (2008 model) is refusing to run at above 79 degrees C.
A bit history to help.
The head gasket was replaced last week and the head was skimmed at the same time. The thermostat was replaced yesterday which includes the temperature sensor as part of the housing. The head gasket was changed as oil had contaminated the coolant, oil was fine with no contamination.
Coolant system has been flushed twice and the coolant changed both with the head gasket and thermostat changes.
When running the engine is slow to get to get up to temperature either stationery or driving. It will not get up to 90 degrees at all and only reaches 70 degrees at best.
I've checked for air locks by bleeding out the top hose and bleed screw on the bulkhead heater hoses.
The interior heater fans are working and hot air is running out of the vents nicely.
The radiator cooling fans are not triggering despite the engine running and the car not moving.
Any help please?
Thank you.
