This month I've been on the M1 south bound twice and have been dangerously tail-gated by lorry drivers going through speed restricted road works. Yesterday was the worst incident where the slow lane was closed, there was a speed restriction of 50 and it was a average speed camera zone and so I was in the left most open lane doing approximately 45. A lorry came up fast behind me flashed his lights and sounded his horn just feet from my rear bumper. I couldn't move out of his way as the left lane was closed. I felt really threatened by the whole situation and honestly thought he was going to hit me. Then as soon as the left lane opened up I was preparing to move over and he under took me very quickly whilst giving me the finger on the way past. I am not sure what else I could had done? Should I had moved in the right lane so he could had under taken me bearing in mind I wasn't prepared to break the speed limit and get a fine. Advice sort.
