I am the proud owner of a 10 plate 4x4 150,000 mile ex rac transit drives like new, still has some of the storage cupboards draws ect in the back seems like it has been looked after by previous driver just a few minor probs though, most of the diagnostics wireing has been removed somewhat roughly.so some of the eletrical bits dont work, i can work through them eg work spot lights .interior lights and cigarette conectors for phone charging ect. the bigest prob is no trailer lights,as i have bought this van to tow my trailer so this is a big problem, after checking all fuses i could find, buying a haynes manual, i have now found the other fuse box behind the first box behind glove box. manual said trailer lights control module was fuse no f83 however box only goes up to f82 ?????? Ford transit faoum said it was under the plastic step pass side, removing this nothing no fuse no wires ??? the local auto eletrical expert said dont bother with all wireing just rewire trailer and remove all other wireing it would be quicker and cheeper !!!400 quid or so, does any one have any suggestions where to look. And are there any ex rac drivers or drivers in the Evesham worcester area that could give me advise on other equipment in this van thanks Oscar
