Hi all
Wife has a 06 plate mk5 astra with a beloved 1.6 16v twinport engine.
The simptones are just recently:
- jerking in first when warmed up and cannot pull out from behind bus, from streets in traffic etc
- find windows down several times after parked for an hour or so , just like that
- turn the key in ignition and nothing, no crank, amber wrench on dash....and again ...it may start, and again...started
otherwise it goes like stig, mpg normal if the abve stated things are not present.
summa summarum the car isnt gooood.
Cambelt replaced couple thousand miles ago with water pump,103k miles, new plugs, new oil, no missfire, after started drives very well, no knocking or any suspicious noise from under bonnet, just been on the plug in vauxhall service all good.
Also i`m not sure if this is the model with the wrong clutch fitted as standart wich had to be replace by vauxhall free of charge (well, not this one I think its still the original....)
Anything to do with? Can it be the source of all of these problems?
