I have a 2004 1.2 SE model and the airbag light is flashing......After quite some investigation it comes down to two codes;
B1023 Pass A/B Indicator Circuit
B1024 Pass A/B Deactivation Switch
I have tried the old loose wire/plug under the seat routine without success.........I know that later models have a passenger deactivation switch on the outer end of the dash so that rear facing kids in child seats can be carried. This model does not have one of these..
Since I have recently bought the car, is it possible that 'someone' has used a later airbag module (with the deactivation switch circuit) instead of the earlier version....OR...can these codes mean something else on my car?......Scratching my head seriously now, would pass the MOT if it wasn't for this.
Any help much appreciated
