Need some advice on my 2003 1.4 Diesel Fiesta, I originally thought I had a clutch issue (subsequently changed the clutch) As the engine was over-revving but I wasn't going anywhere fast.
Although the clutch was changed the issue remains, so when I need to accelerate fast(i.e on a slip road etc) I put my foot down the rev's go up to 5000 for few seconds then dies down. This results in significantly slow acceleration. This happens in all gears and the mechanic that did my clutch said that it can only be the turbo. Does this sound right or does anyone think it could be another issue?
