Noticed a couple of cars near my house recently. They were parked over the road and one driver went to the corner shop. The other went to the pub.
The first, a 1997 Lexus is declared SORN, has no MOT since February and no insurance.
The second, a 2003 Ford Mondeo, is shown as no tax, no MOT and no insurance.
Both were checked using DVLA: https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ and the motor insurers bureau so up to date. I've reported both to DVLA as only they deal with the tax issues but the police seem very uninterested.
Time they brought back tax discs!!!!!
