Renault Laguna 06 2.0 DCI low power

Hi

I am experiencing low power when accelerating similar to that of a slipping clutch without the high revs.

I think I could have a duff EGR I have 160k on the clock and I haven't replaced it yet. I had a new clutch and DMF 4 years 60k ago.

There is a new noise as well when accelerating it's even there when reving the engine in neutral, kind of like a fan that needs oiling or a wheel bearing noise. It gets louder and tinnier the more revs too.

Before I take it to the garage I want to know I can afford the repair I think it is!!.

Any advice would be great.
