We visited friends in London and set off from Lambeth at 7pm to head home. The car was juddering and we were going nowhere fast. With our 3 troops distressed (18months, 6 and 8), we called the RAC. The service was excellent and the breakdown guy arrived quickly. He did all he could but was unable to fix the car... its old. A recovery vehicle was called and approximately 45mins later Alan Dymock Patrol 508 arrived.
He was simply amazing, he helped get our belongings into his vehicle and loaded the car on the back of his lorry. We were on our way at around 8.30. Baring in mind that we live in Dorset, Alan couldn't have been more thoughtful/ considerate, we stopped to take on food and go to the loo and he was helpful and cheerful throughtout.
We arrived back at 11.30, Alan unloaded the car and then set off to his base in Essex, I can only imagine he arrived back around 3.30am.
I would like to thank Alan and RAC for the excellent service, I can't recommend them highly enough....
Finally Alan even took the time to call to ask how we had got on with getting the car fixed....a true gent!!! thankyou from the Daly family.
