Rac sub contractor damaged door please help

Hi I'm new to the forum so please help. I was towed by a sub contractor from Manchester airport due to some idiot crashing into my car whilst I was on holiday. Long story short the car was towed back as it wasn't drive able. The driver put my car down off the ramp into my drive and got into my car to reverse it up even though it didn't move at all due to damaged suspension. When he got out of the door he opened it fully and hit the door into my fence. This was at 4am and when I checked the damage the next day the door had a small dent in and paint damage occurred on my black Bmw which has metallic sapphire paint. I contacted Rac customer care who asked for a quote which I sent through the next day. I didn't get any email or phone call to acknowledge my complaint. I rang a few days later to be told the contractor denies this happening which is such a shame as he knew he did it and tried to scrub the car door with his hand straight away. So basically it's my word against his. Rac asked for a photo of the damage which I have sent from the body shop where my car is and who quoted the repair. I admit the repair price shocked me and I am open to getting another quote but it needs a full respray on the door to blend in. After I sent the photo I still haven't had one call or email and now it's 8 days after the incident. This isn't right or fair and I can see where this is going. So not only did I come back from holiday to somebody smashing my car and driving off now I have a damaged door from the driver and he won't admit he made a mistake. Surely this isn't right or fair on me and it can't be right rac don't even respond to me via email or phone. How is this customer care?
