Wrong way driving new driver, very worried about penalty points?

Hi,

I recently passed and made my first car trip to birmingham city centre, i got so confused by so many signs that
i accidently took the wrong turn where the traffic was coming and was driving the wrong way, i realised moments after and stopped,
the bus driver was nice and stopped for me and gave me way to turn onto the right road.

I will not lie and it a mistake i made, maybe i shouldve been more careful, but i dont know.

There was no police there, however i went back to that position to see for any cameras etc, and I found two cctv cameras outside the hotel facing towards the road.

I am very scared, being a medical student and having any points will not look good on me.

Very worried right now, I spoke to the police officer myself and they told me that I should be fine as long as i didnt drive on the bus lane because there are cameras for that.

I WILL attach the image of how the cctv camera looked like in that area, just wondering what will happen.
