2005 mazda mx5 spare wheel Issue

Hi, I had a Flat wheel the other day on my 2005 Mazda mx5 so I had used the spare wheel that was in the boot to drive it to the garage now I can't get the spare wheel to sit flat in the boot again?

Any ideas why it isn't sitting flat again
